A time I was lost or scared

At Tuesday midnight in this week, a storm had been raging with thunderbolt. I was doing my homework in my room. Rolls of thunder were heard in the distance. Then, a clap of thunder broke. It seemed to be very near my house from the roll. I drew the curtains apart fearfully. The thunder striked one of outdoor lamp just 5 meters far from my room.
